Beach volleyball on the beach with a view of THE Olympus. This is not a tourist phrase, but reality on the beach of Possidi Holidays Resort on Chalkidiki in northern Greece. We have really found a "hidden paradise" here. It's quiet, close to nature, the food is outstanding, the service great, the hospitality enormous and the kilometer-long beach simply beautiful - not to mention the sunsets. Obviously, the dolphins see it that way, too, as they can be observed regularly from the beach. We didn't have to think twice about organizing a beach volleyball camp at this dream location in Greece. You will surely be thrilled as well.

THE WEEK AT A GLANCE
- Saturday: Arrival day with check-in from 3pm & free play, small tournament format if necessary.
- Sunday: Optional joint excursion in the morning (not included in the price), in the afternoon from 3 p.m. welcome and get-to-know-you tournament
- Monday - Friday: Each morning a 1.5 hour beach volleyball training session in two staggered blocks (family friendly)
- Wednesday: training in the morning, fun tournament in the afternoon
- Friday: Training in the morning, final tournament in the afternoon, final party in the evening
- Saturday: After breakfast departure
Saturday is the arrival and departure day of a camp week. At the beginning of your camp you can check in with our event team on Saturday from 3 pm, the afternoon is available for free play. On Sunday we offer anoptional joint excursion in the morning(not included in the price), in the afternoon from 3 p.m. welcome and get-to-know-you tournament
SPORT
Training sessions take place in two blocks in the mornings from Monday to Friday (parents can also train in staggered sessions, for example). Training takes place on the beach or on our newly built beach volleyball courts on the resort grounds. The afternoons are then at your free disposal. On Sunday afternoons, our big introductory tournament takes place. On Monday and Wednesday afternoon we organize fun tournaments in which you can participate if you like. On Friday, the last training session takes place in the morning before the big final tournament is played in the afternoon

Training & Game
In our Free Time 'n Training Camps at Possidi Beach you have the perfect mix of beach volleyball and free time. In the morning, there are 1.5 hour training sessions in two blocks each (parents can also train staggered here, for example).
A training group consists of a maximum of 6 players. Due to the small training groups you will get more frequent feedback on technique and tactics from our coaches during your beach volleyball training.
Most of the training takes place at Possidi Beach. Since this year we have also been able to build our own beach fields on the railing of the resort, so we have maximum flexibility to train there in windy weather, for example.
Of course, you can use the free courts at any time for free play. If you still don't have enough, you can book extra training sessions with our coaches on some days.

GROUP & SKILLS
No matter if you just want to start playing beach volleyball, have an intermediate level or are already an advanced player with a lot of tournament experience - at our beach volleyball camp in Possidi you will get exactly what you need. We have the right coach for every level and together we can take your game to the next level. Beach volleyball is a team sport and we are one big, united team on site. #eachoneteachone

On Chalkidiki you will be in the camp with up to 46 other participants per week. The group size is deliberately chosen smaller, because we can create a family atmosphere and give all participants the maximum beach volleyball input. This gives all participants and the Beach me team time to get to know each other before and after the training.

Food
In Greece, a rich buffet with delicious local and international dishes awaits you in the morning and evening. For lunch you have to take care of yourself. However, there is the possibility to buy lunch at the beach bar. Water is included during the whole camp. To save the environment from plastic waste, please bring your water bottle to the camp (alternatively you can buy a cool water bottle from us).

Events
If you still have energy and desire to explore the area after your training, we are happy to help you. A wine tasting with wine from our own estate, a sailing trip, a trip to Thessaloniki for shopping or an evening excursion to the traditional village of Afytos are just some of the options. But also at the resort itself, evening entertainment is well taken care of.

Climate
From the beginning of May, the peninsula of Chalkidiki becomes a popular tourist magnet again. The temperatures approach the pleasant 25°C mark and also the sea slowly reaches water temperatures of 18-22°C, so that one can well allow oneself a cooling down after the sweaty training. Perfect temperatures for an active vacation.
A very good time for active travel, besides May, is October. The sun no longer bangs quite so hard, but the temperatures are still around a pleasant 21 degrees. Also the sea has still stored the residual heat of the summer and invites with 21 degrees to cool down after the training.

In general, the arrival and departure will be organized by yourself. We offer transfer services between Thessaloniki airport and our beach volleyball camp. EQUIPMENT
Apart from your private playing clothes and equipment, we provide everything you need to play beach volleyball. In addition, we will provide you with water for the training to fill yourself. So that you are personally well equipped for the training, we recommend that you pack the following things: Headgear, sunglasses & sunscreen, swim shorts/ tank top or bikini/sports shirt, towel, water bottle.
