Location

Freiburg is known for its mild climate and many hours of sunshine. It is considered the sunniest city in Germany and therefore offers perfect beach volleyball flair. The city itself is also something special. The beautiful medieval city centre is crossed by small streams and invites you to stroll around.
Beach volleyball is played on the fields of the Freiburger Turnerschaft . The modern facility with 6 courts is located directly on the Dreisam River, so it is always possible to cool off after a strenuous workout.

SCHEDULE
In Freiburg we find really ideal conditions for our youth beach volleyball camp. We train twice on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, once in the morning and once in the afternoon(Friday again in the morning). We always start with a more theoretical training sequence at the beginning to hone the basic techniques of beach volleyball before incorporating more and more playful forms of training from day to day. On Friday there is another training session in the morning before we start our big final tournament in the afternoon. Wednesday is a day off, which we fill with an alternative program.
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 2x training each (morning & afternoon)
- No beach volleyball on Wednesday, but an alternative programme
- Friday morning training, afternoon big final tournament

Climate
August means midsummer in Germany and even more so in the south of the country.
In Freiburg im Breisgau, the average temperature at the end of August and beginning of September is around 20 degrees Celsius. During the day, temperatures often reach between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius, while the nights are pleasantly cool.
Perfect conditions for relaxing and being active or refreshing yourself in the lake.
Accommodation
The young people spend the night in tents on the nearby campground. Beach me will provide tents if required and will usually divide the participants into pairs or threes (if you have your own tent, please bring it with you and we will set it up together). In addition, please bring a sleeping mat, sleeping bag and pillow.
The campsite is the starting point for all activities during the week. After breakfast, the youngsters go to the beach volleyball courts together with the supervisors and coaches. The facility is only a few minutes' walk from the campsite and the path leads directly along the Dreisam river. The short walk is just the right thing to get the body going in the morning and prepare for training.
