General Terms and Conditions of beach me GmbH
– hereinafter referred to as Beach me.
1. Registration, confirmation
1.1 By registering, you are making a binding offer to Beach me to conclude a contract for participation in the event specified in the registration form. The contract is concluded when we confirm your booking for the event in writing. Telephone and verbal agreements only become binding once they have been confirmed by us in writing.
1.2 The registration is made by the registrant also for all participants listed in the registration/lists

1.3 Participation in Beach me beach volleyball camps is open to all adults aged 18 and over. Younger participants can only take part in Beach me beach volleyball camps advertised as youth camps.
2. Payment
2.1 Upon registration, the participation fee per person is due in accordance with the booked service. After receiving the invoice from Beach me, a deposit of at least 30 percent of the participation fee must be paid within 2 weeks. The remaining payment must be made no later than four weeks before the start of the event. Cancellation fees, processing fees, and rebooking fees are due immediately. The amounts for the down payment, remaining payment, and any cancellation fees are specified in the booking confirmation. Payments are made in a single sum for all registered participants.
2.2 For last-minute bookings (four weeks or less before the start of the event), the entire participant fee is due immediately.
2.3 If the final payment deadline is not met, Beach me may, after issuing a reminder with a grace period, withdraw from the existing booking contract and demand cancellation fees in accordance with section 3.2 as compensation. The final information will only be provided after receipt of the final payment, but no earlier than 14 days before the start of the event.
3. Withdrawal by the participant(s), cancellation fees
3.1 It is possible to withdraw from participation at any time before the start of the event. The date of receipt of the withdrawal notice by Beach me is decisive. The event withdrawal notice must be made in writing. If a participant/travel companion withdraws or does not commence the trip to the event for reasons (with the exception of cases of force majeure as regulated in section 8) for which Beach me is not responsible, Beach me may demand reasonable compensation for the arrangements made and expenses incurred. When calculating the compensation, any expenses usually saved and any other possible use of the event services shall be taken into account. You are free to provide evidence that no costs or significantly lower costs than those stated by us in the package (see 3.2) were incurred in connection with the withdrawal or non-commencement of the trip.
3.2 The following costs are generally payable in the event of withdrawal (including by individual persons) from the event: – up to 30 days before the start of the event: 40% of the participation fee – from 29 to 15 days before the start of the event: 60% of the participation fee – from 14 to 6 days before the start of the event: 80% of the participation fee – from the 5th day before the start of the event: 90% of the participation fee – in case of no-show at the start of the event: 100% of the participation fee
3.3 Beach me recommends taking out travel cancellation insurance.
4. Withdrawal and termination by Beach me
Beach me may terminate the contract without notice if the participant persistently disrupts the event despite a warning from Beach me or if he behaves in such a manner that is contrary to the contract that immediate termination of the contract is justified. If Beach me terminates the contract, Beach me retains the right to the participation fee minus the value of the expenses saved and the benefits saved resulting from the alternative use of the services not used.
5. Duration of travel
The duration of the trip is specified in whole days. The arrival day and the return day are considered whole days.
6. House rules
In accommodations where there are house rules, such as schools, youth hostels, vacation apartments, vacation homes, and hotels, these rules must be observed.
7. Sports program
The organizer and Beach me reserve the right to change the program if there are justified reasons for doing so. Beach me accepts no liability for the non-execution or incomplete execution of the program as a result of circumstances beyond Beach me's control.
8. Liability, exclusion of claims, and statute of limitations
8.1 Contractual liability for damages that are not physical injuries is limited to three times the participant fee (per person), provided that the participant's damage was not caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or that we are solely responsible for damage incurred by the participant due to the fault of a service provider. Statutory provisions limiting or excluding liability based on international agreements and which a service provider appointed by us can invoke shall also apply in our favor. For all claims for damages against Beach me arising from tortious acts that are not based on intent or gross negligence, liability for property damage is limited to three times the participant fee (per person and event).
8.2 In the case of independent travel and travel opportunities organized by Beach me, Beach me is not liable for any damage, accidents, losses, or other irregularities during the journey to and from the vacation destination, as Beach me only acts as an agent in this case, i.e., the transport risk is borne by each participant themselves.
8.3 Beach me is not liable for service disruptions, personal injury, or property damage in connection with third-party services that are merely arranged or organized by the participants themselves. Beach me is generally not liable in cases of force majeure.
8.4 Participants and fellow travelers are responsible for their own participation in sports and other leisure activities. Sports facilities, equipment, and vehicles should be checked before use. Beach me is only liable for accidents that occur during sporting events and other leisure activities if the company is at fault. Beach me recommends taking out accident insurance.
8.5 In the event of service disruptions, each participant/traveler is obliged to cooperate in accordance with the statutory provisions to avoid or minimize any damage. Defects or disruptions must be reported immediately to Beach me employees on site; Beach me recommends doing so in writing. If a participant/traveler fails to comply with this obligation through their own fault, they shall not be entitled to any claims in this respect.
8.6 Beach me employees on site are not authorized to acknowledge any claims.
8.7 Claims for non-contractual performance of the booked event must be asserted with Beach me within one month after the contractually scheduled end of the event. We recommend that you do so in writing. After the deadline has expired, you can only assert claims if you were prevented from meeting the deadline through no fault of your own. Your claims under this contract expire after one year. The limitation period begins on the day on which the event was scheduled to end according to the contract.
9. Exclusion from participation
If it transpires that a participant is behaving in such a disruptive manner that it seriously jeopardizes the relationship between Beach me and the service provider (e.g., transportation, accommodation, organizer), the participant in question may be excluded from the trip and must leave the accommodation or event location immediately at their own expense.
10. Covid 19 | Options & Guidelines
Participants/travel companions undertake to inform themselves about the applicable Covid 19 | Options & Guidelines "2G plus" or "2G" from Beach me. Failure to comply with the applicable guidelines justifies immediate termination of the contract. If Beach me terminates the contract, Beach me retains the right to claim the participation fee minus the value of the expenses saved and the benefits saved resulting from other use of the unused service.

11. Final provision
The terms and conditions apply to all agreements between Beach me and the contractual partner, regardless of the domicile of all parties involved and the place where the contract was concluded, as well as the place where the service is to be provided.
